“The Penumbra”
From Limehouse to Leicester Square, witnesses tracks of the Chinese immigrants in London.
Relocating Chee Kong Tong - the Chinese freemason society from the Lime Dork and Mr Kong – the Chinese restaurant from Leicester Square, brought them together reappearing in the same space.
Painted with layers of deformed two-dimensional rectangles of the two shop fronts structures, with a cast of manmade day-light against the whiteness of the structures, creating a fading illusion in an actual spatial structure.
