For this exhibition, I explore the relationship between personal memories and mass cultural/communication memories in the idea of imagery. From mass media images of Hong Kong 4 June 1989 Massacre protest, revisit the state of mind of Hong Kong locals. Collaged with portraits that were taken in 1989 summer of my dad, my brother and I, project personal memories into the protest. Reinstall the collaged images into the sites where the original images were being shoot, construct a transposition dialogue between 4 June 1989 and 4 June 2014.
